Dr. Wei is passionate about providing the utmost care to her patients and their families.

Dr. Deborah Wei is a native Texan who has the distinct honor of caring for the eyes of DFW for the last 5 years. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Texas at Dallas, and her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry.
Prior to graduation, she rotated through the Cedar Springs Eye Clinic, which focused on the underserved communities in Dallas. She also learned the intricacies of specialty contact lenses at Plaza Vision Center with Dr. Clarke Newman through her second clinical rotation.
Dr. Wei is passionate about providing the utmost care to her patients and their families. She focuses on more than just their visual needs by performing comprehensive eye examinations. This way she can evaluate their ocular health from such conditions as eye infections, dry eye syndrome, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and cataracts.
Dr. Wei loves opportunities for community outreach, especially through mentorship of students pursing a career in optometry. She is also a member of the Northeast Texas Optometric Society, the Texas Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Wei tries to keep an active lifestyle outside of work with her barre and kickboxing workouts. She also enjoys discovering new restaurants such as Bellagreen and CAVA. In her free time, she works through her collection of Audible books, and her current selection is “Daring Greatly” by Brene Brown.
